Today I will be talking about what my concerns are for this upcoming presentation. I think my biggest concern would have to be whether or not I present adequately. I'm not worried about it being long enough or not having enough information. I'm worried about presenting correctly. Was I enthusiastic enough? Did I have a good attitude? Did I go over all the content correctly?  Did the class enjoy my presentation? Those are my thoughts. But other than I think I will be okay when it comes to presenting.

My favorite assignment in this class would have to be when we worked on our WebQuests. I liked coming up with our own idea of how to teach our class. My WebQuest was about having my students create a PSA on suicide. I liked this because we could give details on how exactly we wanted them to work on the assignment. Also it was a way for them to learn how to follow instructions through what seemed liked an online assignment. I'll most likely do something like this for my future classes. After all the future is all about children and technology.
Today I will be talking about what makes up a good web 2.0 tool. Anything you find that you feel will help you teach your students better is a good tool you can use. There are hundreds of websites or apps you can use to interact with students, improve learning, and help them and their parents check grades. One of my favorite websites to use is Edmodo, it is used to provide feedback to students and also easy for students to respond to teachers feedback. Fun Brain is also another good tool to use, it is a website where students can play online educational games. Fun Brain helps teachers find games that relate to whatever subject the teacher is teaching. Blogs, we all love blogs right, after all you are reading mine! Here's the fun part, there is also a blog website called Weebly, which provides an easy way for teachers to create a classroom site which is blog and it can be used to communicate with students and parents, and includes a way for kids to easily create sites of their own. And last but not least, one of my very favorites is Kahoot. Kahoot is a user-friendly tool for designing in-class questionnaires and quizzes, which a teacher can use to quiz students on whatever subject her class is working on. Now like I've stated before, there are a ton of other websites you can use for your classroom, these are just some of my favorite which I have fun useful to use in my classroom.

Today I will be talking about what is appropriate to blog about to parents and what isn't appropriate. Let's start off with the "do's" do blog about what students are learning in class as a whole. Do blog about what assignments are coming up and what assignments will also be due. Do blog about how well the class is doing and how parents should feel welcomed to come watch any day. Now lets talk about the inappropriate things to blog about. You should never mentioned a students name when it comes to personal matters on your blog. Never share grades on a post, especially of a specific student. Don't blog about a certain students behavior. Students medical records should never be posted as well. If you see any type of maltreatment, don't post that specific students name or family. Just think about it this way.. what would you like to be shared from a parents point of view? If you wouldn't want someone to know about something about your child, then don't post that information about another child. This pretty much sums up the dos and don'ts for blogs that parents will read.

Creating and writing lessons plans can be very hard yet quite fun to do. I've never had to create a lesson plan in my life but hopefully it is what I'll be doing for the rest of my life in my teaching career. The hard part to me is coming up with a good objective, although these can be fun to do.. they're hard to come up with! Having to follow the ABCD steps is helpful but I seem to struggle with the "C" part which stands for condition. Coming up with a good condition is hard, it is quite challenging but once you have one, the rest of the steps are a breeze. Not everything is hard when it comes to lessons plans, they're also some easy things. For example, after having done the hard part which are the objectives, you get to do the fun stuff! The easy part is coming up with assignments or projects that will students meet those objectives. Creating a time schedule, where one can make sure the class is right on track is also easy. Like I stated earlier, I've never had to write or create lesson plans before. To be completely honest, I never thought I would have to.. I never know I wanted to become a teacher. When I was younger I never thought lesson plans were actually important, but know that I'm beginning to learn to write them.. I can see the importance of them!

Technology has changed a lot in the past ten years. We've had a lot of more updates on things such as phones, iphones are one the most used cell phones. Iphones update every year, and newer iphones come out as well. We have more touch screen items, such as computers, tv's, etc. I've had to learn how yo use plenty of newer things, such as new software updates. New updates on phones, computers, etc. I will incorporate technology in my classroom as well.

Hello, my name is Emily Bueno, or as some of you may know me, Ms. Bueno. My goals are to be able to inspire your children to want to become someone important in life. I want to help and make sure all my students complete and comprehend all assignments they are given. I also want to create a safe environment where all my students will be and feel comfortable enough to come talk to me about anything. Another one of my goals is that I want to inspire your children to want to inspire others. I want them to be able to walk out of class with a smile on their faces and to know that they are important and valuable. I teach mainly younger children, Kindergarten to be exact. Why Kindergarten you ask? Because that's where it all begins! Children begin learning at a young age and Kindergarten has a huge impact on students life. It prepares you for the beginning of your education. You begin to learn the basics such as: reading, writing, math problems, etc. Which you will need in order to move on to the next grade level, where other teachers will begin adding to what I have prepared my students for. My classroom is very colorful, full of energy and delight, and a bully free zone. As soon as you come to my classroom, you can't help but notice all the many different eye catching colors, shapes, and sizes of things. I have a reading corner, a math corner, and an entertainment corner. After learning everything I have to teach in that day, I allow my students to enjoy themselves in the entertainment corner, where I have a little playground set, coloring books, Play-Do, Legos, and many more fun things. Of course, I have cots in my classroom for nap time, and snacks for snack time. There are many more things in my classroom, but of course you'll just have to come to my classroom to find out for yourself!

Welcome to My Classroom! :)
